Harvest & Heritage – AW25

This autumn, the fields, hedgerows, and orchards of Dorset become the backdrop for a new creative campaign: Harvest & Heritage. A visual story of gathering, craft, and the timeless rituals of the countryside.

I’m opening my doors to a small number of brands who’d like to see their products placed in this story — styled and photographed in a rural setting, where heritage and seasonality meet.

Whether it’s wool, tools, preserves, or textiles, this campaign is about more than product photography. It’s about creating images that feel lived-in, rooted, and timeless — a chance to connect your brand to the enduring rhythm of the seasons.

📸 Collaborations for AW25 Harvest & Heritage are now open.
If your brand belongs in this landscape, I’d love to hear from you.

Maldon Salt – Behind the Crystals

Photographing Maldon Salt in their Essex home was an opportunity to approach brand storytelling in a truly documentary way. The brief was to capture not only the product, but the process — the factory, the people, and the unseen details that shape one of the most iconic salts in the world.

The environment came with its challenges: low light, steam rising from the pans, and shifting atmospheres that made visibility tricky. But those same conditions created a mood and texture that lent themselves beautifully to storytelling. I leaned into those elements, working with natural contrasts and ambient glow to highlight the drama of salt being formed.

For this shoot, I also experimented with a split filter, creating a subtle crystalline effect in some frames. The result echoed the salt itself — fractured light, softened edges, and a glimmer that felt both experimental and natural. It gave the client a selection of images that balanced clean documentary coverage with something more artistic.

The series is as much about people as it is about process: the hands tending to the pans, the rhythm of the factory, and the heritage that sits behind every Maldon Salt flake. Photographing it was an exercise in patience, observation, and seeing beauty in the atmosphere of craft.

Dartmoor Riding Holidays – Western Cattle Handling Experience

This project with Dartmoor Riding Holidays was a chance to capture something truly unique in the English countryside: a western-style cattle handling experience set against the dramatic landscapes of Dartmoor. The shoot was about more than horses and cattle; it was about tradition, skill, and the connection between people, animals, and the land.

As a lifestyle photographer and outdoor photographer, I wanted to frame the story in a way that felt authentic and immersive. The wide-open spaces of Dartmoor gave a cinematic backdrop — sweeping skies, rolling moorland, and textures of grass and stone that echoed the rugged spirit of the American West. But it was grounded in a very Devon sense of place, blending local character with the influence of western horsemanship.

The images move between quiet, intimate moments — a rider adjusting tack, a hand reaching to steady a calf — and the more dynamic energy of the cattle being driven across the land. Horses, dust, and movement all came together to create a rhythm that was both raw and beautiful.

What struck me most during this shoot was the sense of community and tradition. Dartmoor Riding Holidays have created an experience that not only teaches practical skills, but also allows riders to step into a different way of life, even if just for a day. Photographing it felt like documenting a lifestyle — one where respect for animals, teamwork, and the outdoors are at the heart of the story.

This series is about more than cattle handling. It’s about capturing the essence of adventure, the authenticity of rural life, and the freedom of being outdoors in one of the UK’s most striking landscapes.

Fly Away Ballooning – Lifestyle & Outdoor Photography - The Experience

Working with Fly Away Ballooning was an opportunity to bring together storytelling, adventure, and atmosphere in a way that celebrates both people and place. The project’s main goal was to create a hero video capturing the essence of ballooning and its British heritage but alongside that, I focused on documenting the experience through still photography. This journal showcases those images, offering a more intimate look at the journey.

We shot across three distinct locations — Bath, Bristol, and Taunton — each adding its own unique character to the narrative. Bath provided timeless backdrops and open countryside, grounding the series in a sense of heritage and calm. Bristol brought energy and scale, with its city-edge landscapes giving a contrast of urban meets sky. Taunton, with its expansive fields and softer light, offered moments of stillness that balanced the more dramatic scenes.

As both a lifestyle photographer and outdoor photographer, I aimed to capture more than just the spectacle of hot air balloons in flight. The stills focus on the details that build the full story: the anticipation as balloons inflate at dawn, the laughter of the crew preparing for take-off, and the quiet awe of passengers as they lift into the sky. Each frame is about connection — between people, between land and sky, and between a sense of freedom and the grounded reality of preparation and teamwork.

This series is a celebration of being outdoors, embracing the unpredictability of light, weather, and fleeting moments. It reflects the magic of hot air ballooning not only as a visual experience, but as a lifestyle — one that values adventure, togetherness, and the simple joy of looking at the world from a new perspective. Official Photographer, Game Fair Photos

July was a dynamic and rewarding month in my role as the official photographer for The Game Fair. With the event season in full swing, I had the opportunity to document a wide range of outdoor sporting events, capturing everything from action-packed shooting competitions to candid moments between attendees and exhibitors.

Each assignment brought a unique blend of storytelling and technical challenge, requiring fast reflexes, a creative eye, and an ability to work seamlessly in dynamic environments. From early morning light filtering through the countryside to the energy of championship finals, I focused on capturing the authentic spirit of the game fair community.

This month also allowed me to strengthen relationships with vendors, organisers, and fellow creatives, all while expanding the visual archive that defines the character and heritage of these traditional events. Whether through behind-the-scenes portraits, sweeping event landscapes, or detailed product photography, July’s work was all about showcasing the heart of country sports and the people who make it thrive.

A shoot with Harley Davidson and Weber EMEA

The Harley Euro Festival in Saint-Tropez is a celebration of freedom, power, and lifestyle — and this year, I had the honor of capturing its essence through a collaboration with Harley-Davidson and Weber EMEA. Set against the stunning Côte d’Azur backdrop, the shoot blended the spirit of the open road with the sizzle of outdoor grilling. From the gleam of chrome to the aroma of fire-cooked flavors, every frame told a story of craftsmanship and connection. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at a project where motors met meals in true Mediterranean style.

24hr Day Shoot in Berlin

Behind the Lens: 24-Hour Outdoor Shoot in Berlin with Weber EMEA

Recently, I had the pleasure of working once again with my long-time client, Weber EMEA, on an exciting and intensive 24-hour photography and video shoot in Berlin. The mission? To create compelling visual content for the launch of their new electric grill, set to debut next year.

The project took place entirely outdoors in the vibrant urban setting of Berlin, where we embraced everything from golden hour to blue hour to capture the grill in dynamic, real-world scenarios. From lifestyle shots with models to product-focused close-ups, we created a range of content designed to showcase the grill’s sleek design, versatility, and innovative features.

Working with Weber’s German product team, we produced both high-quality photography and video content that will be used internally to introduce the new product across the EMEA region. Despite the long hours, the energy stayed high—and the results speak for themselves.

As a professional outdoor and commercial photographer, I specialise in on-location shoots that bring products to life in authentic environments. This project with Weber is a perfect example of how strategic visual storytelling can elevate a brand and build excitement ahead of a major product launch.

Stay tuned for more from behind the scenes, and if you’re looking for a commercial photographer in Berlin or across Europe to help tell your brand’s story, let’s connect.

A 'Whale' of a time!

It has been such an incredible experience to witness both grey whales and humpbacks migrate to Baja, Mexico to breed and give birth.

For the week we have been filming out here, we have seen humpbacks breaching in the distance so it was an incredible opportunity to see this behaviour up close whilst filming with @lizziedalywild @lizziedalyevolved

Fly Fishing with Marina Gibson and Weber UK

A day with Weber UK means great food and great stories. I have been photographing the Weber chefs spend a day with fly fishing queen, Marina Gibson. It is incredibly satisfying to see the excitement that fishing brings to people. Documenting the whole narrative throughout the day, from lake to lunch! We were fortunate to be in the company of some amazing chefs: @melissafood @jonrfinch @huntergathercook @tbone_chops @danielcooperbbq

We enjoyed a variety of dishes, from cold-smoked trout fajitas to grilled trout and salads, making it one helluva feast next to Longstock lake on the @leckfordestate.

Capturing the lifestyle elements of the day in the form of stills and film with the Canon R5 and the RF 24mm - 70mm lens. The aim of this short film was to capture the journey of the day at Leckford Estate with Marina’s guidance and the joy that comes from good food, good grills and good company. Short film to be released soon.

Behind the Scenes of the Shackleton SS23 Shoot

It was a great achievement to be given the opportunity by Shackleton to photograph their SS23 campaign. Shackleton required UK / Dorset content using my Landrover Defender and a range of Shackleton outerwear. The focus would be keeping the ‘luxury’, ‘gentleman’ connotation that Shackleton has built within the outdoor range but adding the ‘adventure’ and ‘endurance’ element to the story.

A two day lifestyle content photoshoot was created, delivering a selection of engaging lifestyle, luxury imagery to bring the collection to life. This included a mixture of natural storytelling from real life adventures and close ups of manufacturing and craftmanship. A mixture of outdoor scenarios and coastal adventures to show off the elements of outdoor wear.

The shoot is to took place in a range of locations around Dorset and aims to tell the story of a gentleman finding his clarity before the working day begins. The shoot began at sunrise travelling via WINDY boats to Old Harry Rocks, an iconic destination using navigation and skills to tell the narrative and visually indicate how the outdoor range can support this type of adventure and environment.

I was using the Canon RF 50mm with the Canon R5 for the first time and I can honestly say, what an improvement to the quality of my work! Here are some behind the scene photographs shot by @cycletog

CONTENT TRIP: 16th May - 20th May The Dolomites

Photography is an important part of a brands visual identity and I work closely with my clients to capture their brand’s story. For my next content trip, I will be spending 4 days exploring the breath-taking mountain ranges in the Dolomites located in North Eastern Italy with a small creative team. The Dolomites offer some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. We will be driving from Venice to Cortina D’Ampezzo where will be base ourselves for the duration. From there, we have designed a route exploring a variety of landscapes and terrains, capturing some of the most popular viewpoints as well as the hidden gems. I have wanted to explore the Dolomites at this time of year for as long as I can remember. The landscape promises amazing peaks, light and adventurous conditions, and I am excited to create some dramatic stories. With all of the valuable lessons and experience’s I’ve accumulated, this following content opportunity can be a platform for consistency and adaption for creating inspiring content to support your brand. I want to showcase my journey with your products in an active style, that compliments your brand and brings your products to life. In the form of video and stills, the goal is to capture the natural, the believable lifestyle moments and the breath taking views that are faced along the journey. A product test and a true story.

Who Is Involved

Keeping this adventure small and tackling this project in its entirety. I want to make this adventure believable and realistic to portray the story and adventure we are about to face. I will not only be behind the camera but also in front to create the story of two people exploring dramatic rock formations, 3 mountain peaks and several of secret viewpoints for 4 days. The team will provide female leads for this expedition. We come from creative and rural backgrounds with adventurous spirits, uniting to capture this journey that is going to be nothing short of epic.

SW1 Street style

SW1 Street style with actor, singer, model, Arteeva.

Test photography shoots are always fun, especially when you want to practice some ideas or just get creative. I was working with Base Models UK in London for this one. I’ve not photographed much street style and I thought shooting in the centre of Pimilco would give us plenty of quiet areas to explore.

My initial plan was to use the private gardens here to have a more ‘outdoors’ vibe and use a model to create a springtime fashion shoot. With some complications, I had to change this plan last minute and use the city environment.

I want to get more into fashion this year so working with Arteeva and Base Models was the perfect opportunity to practice model direction and angles.

Using the Canon R5 and a 35 - 70mm to shoot 3 different scenarios produced a few really pleasing shots. Being winter the light disappeared really quickly that afternoon but we made use of the last few gaps of light.

Pumped and Exfoliated

5 content filled days in Dubai! Defenders, bikes, new environments and connections turned out to be a great experience. This series was taken from a 6am start in the Desert with Chirenj Chandran and his Defender friends Sandy The Landy. I got in contact with Chirenj through Instagram 3 years ago when I needed advice for my MotoTote Bike Carrier and now managed to hang out and create some great content!

I landed in Dubai with little plans or expectations. I realised how much Instagram has connected me with such amazing people all over the world. I took a spontaneous trip to gather new inspiration and some ‘adventure’.

Time to start planning 2022

Time to start planning for 2021! It is already looking like exciting, heading into the new year with a content trip... hopefully! 🤞🏼 Overall, I’m looking forward to exploring with new brands! Stay tuned!
